Your privacy matters. This Policy explains what HubCore Vibes collects during Early Access, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Information we collect

When you create an account, HubCore Vibes may collect your name, email address, username, password information in securely hashed form, profile photo, account creation time and acceptance of the Terms and Privacy Policy. We do not store your plain-text password.

When you use community or media features, we may collect posts, comments, reactions, uploaded photos or videos, captions, titles, share counts and related timestamps. Basic technical and analytics information such as page visits, device/browser information and service logs may also be processed to operate and protect the platform.

2. How we use information

To create and authenticate your account.
To display your profile, username and content to other users where appropriate.
To operate Community and Reel Vibes features.
To send account or signup notifications and respond to enquiries.
To maintain security, prevent abuse and diagnose technical problems.
To understand how the developing platform is used and improve features.
To comply with legal obligations and protect users, rights and the service.

3. Profile and public content

Your chosen username, display name, profile photo and content you intentionally post to public or community areas may be visible to other users and visitors. Do not publish information you do not want others to see.

4. Cookies and local storage

HubCore Vibes may use browser storage, session tokens and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, prevent duplicate actions and support platform functionality. Early Access is designed without advertising-based tracking.

5. Service providers

HubCore Vibes may rely on infrastructure and service providers such as Cloudflare for hosting, storage, security and databases, and email-delivery providers for operational notifications. These providers may process limited information on HubCore Vibes' behalf according to their own contractual and security obligations.

6. Uploaded media

Profile photos and Reel Vibes media are processed and stored so they can be displayed and delivered through the platform. You should only upload media you are entitled to use. Future AI-assisted media tools may require sending selected source media to an AI-processing provider; if enabled, the relevant feature will identify that processing before files are submitted.

7. Data sharing

HubCore Vibes does not sell personal information to advertisers. We may share information with service providers acting on our behalf, where required by law, to protect safety or rights, or in connection with a legitimate business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

8. Retention

We keep account and platform information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security and enforce agreements. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups or logs where technically necessary or legally required.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to an Early Access platform, including hashed passwords and authenticated sessions. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so users should use a unique password and protect their login details.

10. Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. South African users may have rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

11. Children

HubCore Vibes is not intended for children under 13. If we become aware that personal information from a child under the applicable minimum age was collected without required permission, we will take reasonable steps to remove it.

12. International processing

Because online infrastructure providers may operate globally, information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where applicable, HubCore Vibes will seek to use lawful safeguards for cross-border processing.

13. Changes to this Policy

This Privacy Policy may change as HubCore Vibes grows and new features are introduced. The current version and update date will remain available here, and material changes may be highlighted or require renewed consent where appropriate.

This Policy is a practical Early Access privacy framework and should be reviewed by a qualified privacy professional before large-scale commercial launch or expansion into additional regulated jurisdictions.
